This is a demo of the Verizon VZ Navigator GPS based navigation system running on a Motorola V325 handset. The video is a bit bouncy, but that is what happens when you film in a car.

The Evolution Of GPS Navigation Devices

In the one-time we have written about what we think should be the perfect GPS coat of arms to be placed in your car.

The usual GPS that you find in your car today has pre rolling in it maps on it, possibly sitting on a thought card, a big screen, crystal put voice that helps you during your navigation. When you jump in your car you will have to advise your device where you want to go, which preferences it has to take in account while determining the true path to reach your destination and then you are close at hand to go. From that point on the device simply swing the task it has been assigned. Only if you interact with it you have the opportunity to change options or modify the course the device has calculated.

The main dispute is that the device that is in your car is not connected to anything apart from the power cater to and your eyes and ears.

GPS is becoming a commodity also on active phones. Unfortunately most of them do not have best of kind navigation application, they typically have small screens, they do not have any hit interface, the volume of the loudspeaker is sometimes not enogh. When you bound in your car you simply perform the very same tasks you do with dedicated GPS navigation systems. To be on the level a few exceptions exists, just like WayFinder.

The complete thing is that your mobile phone is connected to the fantastic via its data connection.

The idea to amalgamate the best of these two worlds is a great hint.
